mixed feelings about this place
stained carpets dirty windows
the building definitely shows its age. i noticed stained carpets and tired paintwork throughout the hotel. our room had a damp smell (it was a superior double room garden view). the windows were also really dirty.

lovely victorian ambiance
friendly staff live music lovely breakfast great location
the staff was very friendly and cute. the lounge area was nice, and i appreciated the live music offered one evening. the breakfast was lovely. i found the location to be great for accessing local walks.
the hotel could use some updating.

The staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful. I found a nice outdoor seating area. The food was of a high standard, and bar prices were reasonable. Check-in was quick, even with a coach load of guests arriving just before me.
The stair carpet showed significant wear. The staircase presented a trip hazard

The hotel features beautifully maintained gardens. I appreciated the parking. The hotel has an elevator available , very convenient. There are interesting town and area with forest and steam train options from nearby stations

The hotel manager was polite and professional. The staff was very cute. The reception staff were chatty. The reception ensured fast check-in. Everyone on the Nethybridge team aimed to please all guests.
